Sometimes I like to look through my pictures and laugh.. hysterically. They are silly. Especially when you find random ones of... Matt.

These are the times when he truly does shine. This one is my recent favorite..

This, of course, was taken at the happiest place on earth. His face is unparalleled. I adore it. Lately, I cannot stop looking at it when I am blue (which unfortunately seems to be quite often these days).

I hope you can appreciate this. I really do.

GUESS WHAT! I start school in 3 weeks! Basically.. i am psyched... LITERALLY. I am psycho rambunctious. Only 2 years and 8 months until I graduate with my Associates of Science Majoring in Psychology. Party.

I am not one to blog about TV shows (besides VS fashion..) or Movies.. but this simply could not wait. I have seen Twilight TWICE this weekend. ANd I am unconditionally and irrevocably addicted and fanatically fixated on this movie. I have never read any of the books.. or even cared to. In fact, I tried my hardest to stay away from them, as I am quite aware of my obsessive personality--i.e. Harry Potter. I simply did not have the time to get hooked on something new.. However this weekend my mom bought tickets to go and see the show. I adored it. After I had to take Matt. I hate knowing something that he is missing out on...

Edward Cullen... how I love. Matt even has a slight crush on him. Which is fine by me. For all of you that have not seen this movie... please do yourself a favor. As for me.. I am off to the bookstore.. I cannot leave myself in this suspense for long!

I was quite sadden thinking that my fav Alessandra Ambrosio would not be attending due to the birth of little Anja. I have dearly missed her presence in all magazines and among the website... BUT to my surprise I currently reviewed the news.. and she will be attending! Not only attending... SPEARHEADING the fashion show and media craze. I can hardly hold it together. Matt and I better start preparing our runway walks.. as should you. You only have this beauty to live up to...

..AdventUres in WonderlanD..

Today we had quite a wonderful adventure.. Matt and I trekked our way to the happiest place on earth...and OH..what a day it was. Come along with us to share our story.....

We arrived at our destination...quite early. Impatiently I pried open the gates, successfully, to the land of majestic beauty.

Our first stop was to The Temple of Doom. We were in search for the forbidden eye.... We would definitely need our hats for this stop!

Along the way we found skulls from our previously failed explorers...alas we did not let this stop us there. We briskly said good day!!

We cleared our paths and climbed through the ravenous cave of wonders. Wondering if we ever found the eye are you? The answer to that is... simply yes.

Next we decided to take a leisurely swing in the branches of the great oak tree.. or so we thought. We passed through the wobbly bridge.. but made it safely across. Only to run into...

a SABERTOOTH TIGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aaaah!

Luckily Matt fought off that toothy villain.

We soon came to find out that the fierce Tarzan and Jane owned the great oak. They kindly asked us to steer their tree ship to land. We eagerly accepted this mission.

I soon found land...Ho. I should be a pirate.

After all that sailing/swinging.. we needed a small pick-me-up. Honey did just the trick!

But.. we got caught.. by Tigger. Dang.. that bouncy man...

Our next adventures include a trip to the Haunted Mansion.. and a slip slide down big SPlashy Splasher.

Matt always seems quite a bit wetter when we're done.. I wonder why?

Next, Matt caught us a ride to TooN ToWn.. where we had lots of silly escapades!

Hopefully tomorrow will be just as exciting as it was today!!!

TaGGed--well Sort Of...and Disneyland suspense.

Good day to you all... Currently I am 43 hours away from going to Disneyland. Well, Matt I both. I am feeling quite annoyed as I wait the reminder of my sentence home. I feel that I am being tortured..slowly but quite surely. Basically I am at the point of no sleeping. The suspense and pure excitement is overpowering.

I have an annoying habit. I don't think it is too annoying myself--my poor husband may think otherwise. My body wakes me up every morning at 3:00. I am unsure why or how this daily routine came to occur, but it happens...continually. This usually leads me to stay wide awake until 4:00 to rock it with Billy Blanks. Some days I am a good wife. I sit and watch each minute pass by... quietly. I usually gather my To Do list for work that current day during this time. Needless to say... this can become quite old and BORING!! I hate being alone, especially when my best friend is right by my side, and I can't talk about what I am thinking! Which leads to the annoying part... Some days I quietly sit for a minute or two..only to gain a plan to awake Matt. Some of my favorite scenarios have been... jumping on the bed, singing, pretending like I am talk sleeping, singing, playing with the cats, singing, and of course playing scary yet silly tricks. Sleepy people are gullible and fun to tease. Yes, I am married to a very patient and wonderful man. Hopefully, I will remember this patience when I get the payback from my children. Who knows..perhaps I will only join them in the fun. With the ever fierce countdown to the last days before we leave... this urge has intensified greatly.

Today, the fifth day in a row, I creatively awoke Matt to remind him of the remaining days before we would be in the happiest place on earth. Uncharacteristically, Matt was in no need of reminding this morning, and was plainly.. not impressed. Without speaking he got out of bed and walked out of the room. I sat quite dumbstruck... but to my relief he quickly returned. Without a word he placed Sleeping Beauty (my very favorite) into the DVD player, climbed back in bed, and instructed me to watch the movie so he could get some sleep... Speechless, as if being directed by a parent, I watched the movie without a single word, lyric, or giggle leaving my mouth until 4:00 o'clock arrived. I don't know if I will be waking him up tomorrow.

I worked for Victoria Secret back in the day...I believe that this is where the obsession began. I adore it. I also like and regularly hold fashion shows at my home. No, not with anyone...just Matt and I. I usually convince Matt to participate. I think we could fit in nicely with my favs--selita, alessandra, heidi, adrianna, and izabel...

The next section is on Restaurants. I don't like Restaurants. Matt and I never go out to eat. So I am changing this section to...

What is my favorite thing to cook?:

1. COOKIES! Matt and I have finally mastered my grandma's recipe

2. Fruit trays. I love to create, shape, and design them...as weird as that may sound. It is so fun and they always turn out so beautiful! (PS i know this isn't really cooking)

3. Healthy Homemade Pizza. We rock at this!

4. Anything for family or friends.. I love to have parties and people over at my house. I rarely get the opportunity to do this as I am always so occupied at work.

1. Learned a very important lesson about waking your husband up 5 mornings in a row

My beautiful cousin, Aubrey is getting married next Friday! I can hardly wait--and I am so excited for her. Yesterday we had a rehearsal for her wedding, as I will be one of her bridesmaids.. and with all the excitement of the upcoming wedding..I could not help but think back to Matt and I's wedding.

It is a crazy thought to think that it was over two years ago that I married this wonderful man. I could never have imagined that life would be as wonderful as it truly is. I live and love everyday with my very best friend, laugh about everything and anything, wake up every morning glancing over at my extremely handsome husband..and pinch myself to ensure that I am no longer dreaming. The one thing I love the most about our relationship--is that we are never apart. I know many of you reading don't think that may seem so great.. but for us it truly is. Like many people around us already realize, we are joined at the hip. He is my Tae Bo motivator, my shopping pal, my sturdy shoulder to lean on, my cooking compadre, my disney freak companion, my game mania competition, my lovely lazy saturday chum, my crazy, long-laughing amigo, my bosom buddy, my chocolate craving sidekick, my ever strong supporter, my main man, my best ever friend.

Searching through the blogs one late late night--Matt and I ran across this neat little website called make me babies! Basically, this website will take images of you and your spouse and create an image of what your future children will look like. Curious, I had to try. Matt and I are not having children of our own... but I have always wondered what our children would look like.... After inputting both of our pictures and anxiously waiting for our "baby" to upload... we finally gazed upon this little bundle of joy.....

I am not exactly sure of what I was expecting--but HOW THE HECK did this blonde haired, light skinned baby come from mixing our pictures? Frankly, I guess my expectations were a little too high. Matt, the always intelligent one, was not surprised by this. Casually he let me know that they randomly choose pictures depending on the search you request. Deep down I already knew this before the image displayed, however, I seemed to linger to the little hope I had to see what "our baby" would look like. I guess I will never know........

oh--and PS--only 33 days until DISNEYLANDDDDDDD!!!!! YAHHOO!

BroJo and... SistA?

Quite frequently as we wander through life we seem to receive many oDD remarks in regards to how we might be reLated to each other. Each time this comes up I seem to become more and more puzzled at how people seem to portray us. I have never quite experienced being completely speechless at the randomness that others can present... HOWEVER each time I find myself in this situation--I can't seem to find a comfortable way out...

We have been asked if we are: Cousins? Friends? Coworkers? Some of these are not too bad and not necessarily, too strange---but the best yet, and the most frequent guess we receive is.. "You too must be brother and sister!"

Frankly, I am perplexed, and needless to say slightly disturbed, that anyone would present that question with the way Matt and I are around each other. We are completely and hopelessly head over heels with each other. We seem to still be in that "dating" phase--with the constant giggles, "sneaky" kissing, silly flirting, never leaving each other's side..etc, etc. All that "mushy" stuff! This seems to lead me to the point of confusion when we receive this question. I wonder to myself, and hope to myself, that the people that are asking this question--have never before encountered a brother or sister that interacts in that way...

During one insanely busy weekend (work never seems to stop!) we made a rushed stop to the Hallmark store to pick up some finishing touches for some birthday gifts before closing time. After a stressful and long day, Matt and I could hardly resist for some much needed play time.... With all the random toys (our favorite--or maybe I should say my favorite)--how could we not? After an episode of the giggles and few stolen kisses, we quickly found our cards and went straight to the checkout.

As our store representative was checking us out, from the corner of my eye, I could see the other representative staring at us both... As I turned to face her--I already knew what was coming... With that she asked, "You too are so cute.. are you brother and sister?" I simply did not have a quick enough answer (you would think I could come up with a line with all the times we have been asked!) After the slight pause she asked again, "Or are you husband and wife?" I don't really know what possessed me to respond the way I did.. Maybe it was the long SATURDAY I spent WORKING :) or perhaps it was my dismay of receiving this question once again-- I promptly answered "Both!" with a coy smile as I signed my purchase receipt. With that we thanked the representatives for their help and time and swiftly left the store, leaving them both with a quite puzzled and slightly repugnant look.

Needless to say I was quite surprised with the response I had given once inside the car.. however, I also felt quite refreshed yet apologetic as I am never that impolite to others. Since then Matt and I have returned many times, with this specific representative working. Each time I feel the need to truthfully tell her the joke only Matt and I know so well... but I never do. Something about the distressed look in her eye seems quite invigorating... Who knows maybe I'll never tell!

The Birthday..calamity..

Matt turned the big 25 on Friday. In part of the celebration we bought a DELICIOUS looking cake from Parson's bakery to take to dinner on Sunday with Matt's family... Now Matt and I rarely eat any sweets--so we took gentle care of the delectable package the entire ride home. As we talked about the excitement of being able to eat the divine creation on that long journey, the mere smell almost driving us mad, we thanked the good heavens for birthdays to be OFF OF HEALTHY EATING for just one tiny day--possibly two. We arrived home all in one piece--Me, Matt and the Dessert of Dreams. But little did we know of the orange danger that waited just inside the front door. The rest went something like this...

As we were walking up the stairs, our only worry-- getting the cake safely inside, the enemy approached from behind the darkened corner...

Excited by the sweet scent that filled the air, Oscar raced down the stairs taking me right along with him... OUCH! After the tumbling came to an end at the bottom of the staircase, tears brimmed to the edge of the sad wife's eyes as she held the crumbled Dessert of Dreams in her hands. No bruise, twisted ankle, or broken hilled stiletto could compare to the damage of that sweet cake.. Eventually both the sad/injured wife and the birthday boy got over their deep despair...

After a cleanup to both the carpet and the destroyed stiletto heel--I seemed to have a fantastic idea. I sat looking at the collapsed cake, that lay in shambles-and I just simply could not resist...

Unfortunately, I am not sure Matt enjoyed the cake fight quite as much as I did... But Bella and Lucy were extremely supportive in helping Matt clean up after it was all over...

On the 24th of July--Matt and I got to spend the day with some of our favorite people! We love being around all the little kids--and we seem to find ourselves among at almost every gathering or family event. I find myself rarely hanging around, or spending much time with the adults. We love to get lost in their world, and remember what it was like when life was so much simpler. There is just something about them. As Matt and I sat talking about this late Thursday night...it seemed quite amazing at what an example these tiny souls can be to us every day.

They sincerely enjoy the life they have been given. They take every moment and look for a way to make it better, livelier, or more interesting. They don't dwell on the bad, and simply look past the negative aspects that life may present.

Their emotions are real. They know what makes them happy, sad, frustrated, etc. They bring energy and enthusiasm to even the smallest things.

They are accepting. They are non-judging, unaware of difference, innocent, and full of love.

They are Spontaneous. SIllY.

Energetic. Exciting. Rambunctious.

Exhilarating. Adventurous. Lovable.

They cherish the simple things in life. Things that are over looked everyday as nothing extraordinary or special in the least by an adult, is exciting and precious to a small child. For example, Matt and I had my cousin Raigan alone during the day. She is so sweet and full of life! We decided to take her to the toy store--just to look around. Her eyes lit up with each new toy. Running up and down every aisle, and touching everything that she could get her little hands on--I could hardly resist the temptation to do the same. At the end of our toy journey-we let her choose any toy that she would like to take home. Excitingly she ran to the first aisle where a baby doll "Bratz" was high on the top shelf. I quickly looked at the doll--and wondered what could be so intriguing about the smush-faced, poorly dressed doll--but Raigan, saw nothing of the sort. She admired the pink trimmed outfit and the dolls nicely placed hair. Her joy and excitement lasted throughout the day. She never put the doll down-or left it's side. What a wonder $12 dollars could do!

HelLo! We have finally arrived to the blogging world--although we swore we would never give into the fad of setting up our own blog, it seems that is exactly where we have ended up! For many months we have enjoyed, too thoroughly I might add, the excitement of periodically spying on others -- I know creepy -- and reading up about their lives. I have enjoyed seeing old friends-- some I hadn't seen since Junior High School-- and keeping up with our family. Hopefully, you will enjoy reading about the random facts in our life -- and try and keep up with the craziness that we seem to possess.

Matt and I have been married since May 2006-and every day has been a blessing. We are so LUCKY to have each other. Everyday I am grateful to be married to such a wonderful man..who shares my hopes, dreams, aspirations, OH YES-and also puts up with all of my craziness/energy. He is so patient and such a loving, sincere person--and I learn so much from him everyday.

We own our little home in North Salt Lake and have three beautiful children. Well--if you count children that are covered in fur and use a litter box! (Yes, three--we are very aware that we are the crazy CAT people.) They are very spoiled..and we love them VERY much.

I am currently working at SelectHealth supervising the Floor Trainers for the Operations department. I LOVE MY JOB! It requires a lot of time and a lot of energy--but I feel blessed to work for such a great company, and with so many wonderful people! Matt is working at Kick Technologies in Bountiful--and is such a smarty pants. He is a computer genius--and is a very hard worker! We work a lot--workaholics--but enjoy what we do!

Besides working, we love to do anything with each other, or be with our family. We have 8 nieces and nephews (with one on the way) and LOVE LOVE LOVE them to death. We love to be around them--just to be crazy kids again--and also LOVE to spoil them. We also love being with my 3 younger sisters--my oldest just graduated--and it is CRAZY how old they are getting. I love them, and love to be around them.

We love to have lazy Saturdays--to sleep in with NO ALARM! It is a nice change--due to having to get up every weekday at 4:00 in the morning to workout! We are Tae Bo FREAKS! Billy Blanks is our motivator--and we love it! Matt has done so well and has lost 50 pounds! He is crazy healthy--and now I am struggling to keep up! We are obsessed with anything Disney--and have been to disneyland at least once or twice a year since we have been married. Our next vacation is in October--Only 82 days to go!!! We love being with each other--and are basically inseparable. It is nice being married to your best friend!

We are enjoying our simple life together--and look forward to the many adventures that come our way. We are not ready to start our family yet--BUT we are hoping to start the adoption process in a year or two. We are both EXTREMELY excited. We are wanting to have to opportunity to adopt from Africa. Our ultimate goal is to have the chance to adopt all of our children from different parts of the world. We are so excited and cannot wait for that time in our life!! We hope that we may have that opportunity. Until then, we will continue to live the crazy life--with three cats, loads of fun, and lots of laughs.
